The grape variety Otskhanuri Sapere

Otskhanuri Sapere is a rare and ancient red grape variety native to western Georgia, particularly thriving in the Imereti region. The wines made from Otskhanuri Sapere are deeply colored, often exhibiting an alluring ruby or violet hue. The aromatic profile is distinct, expressing vivid notes of black cherry, pomegranate, wild berries, and subtle herbal undertones.
